Police are appealing for information about a hillwalker who has been reported missing in part of Lochaber.
Ian Stalker, 65, from Edinburgh was due to return from a walk in the Sgurr a Choire-bheithe area of Knoydart yesterday evening – but he failed to make contact.
Mr Stalker is described as being 6ft tall with balding grey hair and brown eyes. He is likely to have been wearing black walking trousers, brown leather boots, either a red or blue fleece and using walking poles.
Sergeant Keith Almond said: “We are urging any other hillwalkers who have been in the Knoydart area and believes they have seen Mr Stalker or a man matching his description to get in touch urgently.”
