Emergency services are currently dealing with an incident on the Isle of Skye following reports of a male casualty at the bottom of a cliff.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency received the call at 12pm dispatching a number of agencies to the scene at Loch Scavaig.
A spokeswoman from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: “HM Coastguard has been coordinating a rescue after a man was reported to be at the bottom of a cliff at Loch Scavaig, Isle of Skye earlier today.
“Portree Coastguard Rescue Team, Mallaig lifeboat and HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopters from Stornoway and Inverness were all sent to the scene along with Police Scotland after a call was received at midday today.
“The man was taken on board the boat and taken to Elgol Pier. We have no further information at this time.”
