John McLean made no plea to a charge of culpable homicide and was committed for further examination and released on bail. Mark Maguire was found lying injured near the Cruachan Hotel, Auchintore Road, in the Lochaber port about 5.30am on May 13. Two men were arrested by Police Scotland but later released.
