Firemen were called to the scene and took one person from the vehicle. The B9176 between Edderton and Ardgay was closed to traffic after the accident which happened at about 3.40pm. Diversions were put in place. Police described the accident at an area known as Stoneybridge as “serious.” It is believed the vehicle ended up in the Allt Fear Burn. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it sent two appliances from Tain and Dornoch and two specialist water teams from Inverness and Elgin. No details were available on the condition of the person taken from the vehicle.
