Two female casualties have been taken to hospital after a serious road accident near North Ballachulish.
Police were called at around 4.15pm to attend the two vehicle crash involving a motorbike and car somewhere near the junction of the A82 and B863.
Two ambulances attended the scene with the Air Ambulance called in sometime later to transport one casualty to hospital, the second casualty was also hospitalised.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were also called just over one hour after the police and it is understood made the scene safe.
A second crash occurred around an hour later near approximately one mile north of the Corran Ferry on the A82.
It involved two vehicles and the incident happened just six miles north of the first accident.
There were no casualties in the second incident but the vehicles were left unfit to drive.
