A pregnant woman was one of the occupants of a car which came off the road and skidded down an embankment at Fort Augustus.
Three ambulances were sent to the scene on the A82 on Sunday night and four people were taken to Raigmore Hospital.
A police spokesman said the car involved was a BMW 3 Series and that the injuries were not thought to be serious.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We received a call at 9.56pm on Sunday June 17 to attend a road traffic collision on the A82 in Fort Augustus.
“We dispatched three ambulances to the scene and transport four patients to Raigmore Hospital.”
A fire service spokesman added: “The fire service was requested at 9.58pm on Sunday, June 17 to assist our emergency service colleagues.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of resources to the A82, near Fort Augustus, where firefighters assisted their emergency partners.
“Crews thereafter left the scene.”
