The theft of children’s bicycles and toys from gardens in Caol has prompted an appeal by Lochaber police.
The items were removed from outside properties in the Clunes Avenue area between 6.20pm on Wednesday June 13 and 8am the following morning.
The stolen items include a black and pink coloured Muddy Fox bicycle from one property and an orange Indi bicycle from the other.
Also reported stolen were two toy tricycles and a scooter.
Constable Brian Heriot said: “We are working to try to return these items to their rightful owners and would ask anyone who believes they have seen these items or has perhaps been offered them for sale to get in touch.
“I would also remind people to make sure that they keep bicycles and other items securely locked if they are being left unattended for any period of time.
“The fault always lies with the criminal for any theft. However, many thieves are opportunists so I would urge people not to give them an opportunity.”
Any information can be passed to police by calling 101.
