Police in Ross-shire are appealing for information after copper piping was stolen from a van in a local village.
The incident is believed to have occurred on the High Street in Conon Bridge around 11.50pm on Tuesday, with police receiving reports of the theft the following day.
Officers are keen to speak to a male seen in the High Street and Henderson Crescent area around this time.
He is described as being around 30-years-old, of slim build and around 5ft 7in tall, with straggly hair and a goatee beard.
Constable James Winter said: “We are keen to speak to this man or anyone who believes they have seen him.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone who has any other information about this theft or who may have been offered a quantity of metal pipes for sale.
