Picture by Kevin McGlynn Emergency services have been called to Oban Airport where an aircraft has crashed. The plane is off the runway near to the beach at the Connel airfield. A police spokeswoman said: “We received a call about an aircraft crash at Oban airport around 2.05pm. “Emergency services are in attendance. “No one was injured and inquiries to establish the cause of the crash are ongoing.”
