Oban RNLI lifeboat was called to assist a yacht dragging its anchor in Craignure bay on the Isle of Mull yesterday.
A yacht with one person on board was dragging its anchor and also experiencing engine difficulty.
The lifeboat received the call at 9.26pm and, with the assistance of Craignure’s Coastguard Rescue Team, the lifeboat raised its anchor, bringing it clear of the moorings within the bay.
By 10.25pm the volunteer crew were able to establish a tow with the vessel.
The vessel was safely berthed at the transit marina by 11.49pm.
