The Dominion of Canada Pipes and Drums band paid their respects at two historical landmarks while piping through Glencoe yesterday. The pipe band marched to the town’s war memorial as well as the Massacre of Glencoe monument and played for about two hours. One of the directors of the band, Don Piper, said “It is going really well, it is absolutely lovely here.” “We play in anything, rain, sun snow. The important thing is that we are here in Scotland, in Glencoe – it is a nice place to come.”
