A section of a busy Highland road is currently closed as police attend a serious road accident involving two-vehicles.
The incident involving a Black Triumph motorcycle and a burgundy Ford Fiesta occurred around 2.35pm on the A835 just north of the Braemore Junction with the A832 on the Ullapool road.

People are being advised to avoid the area as the road remains closed in both directions.
Motorists who have been delayed by the road closure and due to travel on the CalMac ferry to the Western Isles will be able to on the freight ferry leaving at 3am tomorrow morning.
A CalMac spokesman said: “Drivers will be able to cross on the freight service at 3am on Friday morning.
“Passengers should make their way to the ferry terminal as normal.”
Police are aware that a number of those delayed on the A835 at Braemore were due to travel on the CalMac ferry to the Western Isles.

The road is expected to remain closed until police give further notice.
