A splash of colour landed in Oban Bay on Saturday when the annual Rotary Club of Oban Duck Race took place.
Rubber ducks coloured red, yellow, green and blue were dropped into the Black Lynn Burn at Combie Street before making their way through the town.
They eventually came through a tunnel and dropped into the bay from the sea wall at the Lismore ferry terminal, where volunteers were ready to collect them.
Rotary Club members had been selling tickets to bet on the ducks all week and the sum of £2,079 was raised for local good causes.
The winning duck was “Yellow 2” in second place was “Blue 110” and third was “Green 74”.
Two people who bought Yellow 2 will receive £50 each, one person with Blue 110 receives £25 and three people with Green 74 get £15 each.
