A mountain rescue team have created their own Lego-type inspired animation to illustrate a call-out on Ben Nevis at the weekend.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team produced the short cheeky video to pay homage to the flying skills of the Inverness based Coastguard search and rescue helicopter R951 on the 4,411ft high peak on Saturday.
The 58-second video shows the figure of a hapless casualty plunging into snow on the UK’s highest mountain.
“The rescue was relatively straight forward but involved some great flying support from R951. The casualty had fallen on descent of Ben Nevis and required medical assistance,” said a spokesman for the team.
“In honour of this great bit of flying we decided to make the animated film as we were not able to get any photos or film of the incident”.
And the team said: “The film was made by our new enterprise, Lochaber Film Productions Ltd, which is based at the Achnacarry Studios which we have opened to take advantage of Lochaber spectacular scenery and guaranteed wall-to-wall sunshine”.
The video already has nearly 7,000 views.
