Police in Lochaber are appealing for information following the theft and subsequent recovery of a van in Fort William.
The silver Vauxhall Vivaro – bearing the sign of DMD Construction – was removed from an address in the Kilmallie Road area of Caol sometime after 10pm last night.
The vehicle was subsequently located at about 1.40am today on the A82 near Torlundy.
The van was found having suffered some minor bodywork damage.
Sergeant Ross McCartney said: “Officers will be carrying out door to door enquiries into this theft in both the Kilmallie road and Glenmallie road areas.
“I would ask anyone who believes they saw anything suspicious in late on Sunday night or in the early hours of Monday to pass this on to us.
