Emergency services attended the site of a road collision involving a van this morning.
The incident occurred on the A939 Grantown to Bridge of Brown road at around 10.50am today.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 10.50am to reports of a one-vehicle collision on the A939.
“One van is involved and we have mobilised crews from Grantown and Tomintoul to the scene. Reports were received of one persons trapped; however, upon arrival it was found the casualty had been freed.
“A hose reel jet and small tools were used as firefighters made the scene safe.
“The stop message was received at 11.37am.”
Police and ambulance personnel also attended.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said “We received a call at 10.47am on 24/07/18 about an RTC on the A939. We sent one A&E ambulance and conveyed a male to Raigmore hospital in Inverness.”
