Police are appealing for help to find a Glasgow man they believe might have headed for the Cairngorms National Park.
Robert Faulkner, 53 and from Castlemilk, was last seen around 6.30am on Monday leaving Cambuslang Investment Park in a grey Ford Focus, registration YX61 OMD.
The Castlemilk-resident Mr Faulkner is described as being 5ft 9ins, of medium build, with short fair hair, blue eyes and is clean shaven.
When last seen he was wearing sandy coloured boots, blue cargo style trousers, a black and cream t-shirt and a hi-visibility jacket.
Sergeant Jordan Dickson, Cathcart Police Office, said: “As time passes, we are growing increasingly concerned for Robert who has been going through some personal issues recently. He requires daily medication and has never went missing before.
“We know he has his car for transport and therefore could have travelled far and have reason to believe he could have travelled north into the Cairngorm National Park or the surrounding area.”
He added: “We would appeal to anyone who has seen this vehicle, or knows of his whereabouts to come forward and contact us. We would also appeal to Robert himself to come forward and let everyone know he is okay.”
