Inverness College UHI has recently welcomed a group of more than 50 US based students as part of a bespoke study abroad programme.
The scheme has seen students from Florida visit the Highland capitals educational facility over the summer for two to four weeks at a time.
Jennifer Loades, Inverness College UHI’s international development executive, said: “Our Scottish Experience programmes are going from strength to strength and every year we attract more students who want to come and study in Inverness and visit the Highlands.
“The support we have had from local businesses has been phenomenal and once again our American friends have left absolutely thrilled with the experience and a sun tan to boot! They couldn’t have visited the Highlands at a more perfect time.”
The students enjoyed a taste of the Highlands during their trips, visiting the Tomatin Distillery, the Isle of Skye, the Cairngorms National Park, Culloden Battlefield and toured Loch Ness with Jacobite Cruises.
