Sentence had been deferred on Andrew Fraser in September last year for three months for social work involvement. He had earlier admitted the offence which occurred on December 15. But Inverness Sheriff Court heard that Fraser of Balgate Drive, had a drink problem and failed to engage with social workers. Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald told Fraser: “You have not been treating this seriously. This was a most unpleasant offence and utterly inappropriate.” She then ordered Fraser to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work as an alternative to custody.
