The small fire began at the top of the track on Glen Aldie road just after 7.30pm igniting several old hay bales. One appliance from the village was dispatched to the scene after receiving the call at 7.38pm and arriving on the scene in just eight minutes. The fire was successfully extinguished in a matter of minutes, with the crew leaving a short time later.
