The 4×4 vehicle was attempting to launch the attached speedboat into the water from the slipway. Coastguard teams were alerted to the incident at 3.30pm and a tractor was able to tow the vehicle out of the water. A coastguard spokesman said: “No injuries were sustained, but the car was damaged.” A spokeswoman for Moray Inshore Rescue Organisation said: “We attended the scene approximately 20 minutes after being notified. “By the time we arrived, the car had been recovered on to the beach.”
