Emergency service are currently in attendance at a serious four vehicle collision on Skye.
The incident occured shortly before 9am just north of the Sligachan Hotel on the A87.
The road remains closed while blue light services remain at the scene.
Three fire engines are currently in attendance – travelling from Portree, Dunvegan and Broadford – after recieving the call at 8.50am.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 0845 hours to attend a road traffic collision on the A87 in Skye. We dispatched three ambulances and two air ambulances to the scene.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 8.50am on Wednesday, August 8 to reports of a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the A87, Skye, near Sligachan.
“Operations control mobilised a number of fire engines to the scene and crews currently remain in attendance”
