The busy A87 has been closed after the second serious crash involving a motorcycle in the Highlands and Islands in just over 24 hours.
The incident happened less than a mile to the south of Eilean Donan Castle when motorbike and car collided.
The call came in just before 12.40pm and at least one person has been injured with the helimed dispatched to transport the casualty but there was no further information on their condition.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance with one appliance.
According to Traffic Scotland the road has been closed in both directions and other motorists are advised to approach the area with caution and expect longer than normal journey times.
A huge 109 mile diversion via Inverness is now in place for those travelling from the Dornie area to the south and for those already in the south west of the village attempting to get to the north west.
The crash happened in wet conditions with persistent rain in the area leading to potentially treacherous road conditions.
