A motorist was left trapped in their vehicle this morning following a collision on the A82 near Oban.
The individual was travelling on the A82 at Bridge of Orchy when their vehicle crashed, leaving them unable to free from the wreckage.
Emergency services recieved the call around 6.30am this morning following reports of a one vehicle collision, with police, firefighters and paramedics all racing to the scene to help free the injured casualty.
The fire service recieved the call for assistance from the ambulance service at 6.38am, dispatching three appliances from Killin, Tyndrum and Kinlochleven to the scene.
Firefighters used hydrolic cutting gear to free the motorist before placing them into the hands of on-scene paramedics.
The road remains closed in both directions as emergency services continue to work at the scene.
