Police have launched an appeal for information after a woman was seriously injured in a collision on the A82 in Lochaber.
The incident, which happened at around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon, involved a Dacia Sandero car and a 41-year-old female pedestrian.
It happened near Loch Ba, north of Bridge of Orchy.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow.
Her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Nobody else was injured in the incident.
The road was closed until around 11pm to allow for an investigation to take place at the scene.
Road Policing Sergeant Ewan Calder said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would ask any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward as soon as possible.
“I would also like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while the road was closed on Monday evening.
