Police in Inverness are appealing for information to help trace a 46-year-old man who has been missing from his home in the city for more than a month.
Jamie Williams was reported missing by his worried relatives after last being seen in the Church Street area on July 27.
It’s believed Mr Williams does not have access to a vehicle and may be hitchhiking across the region.
He is described as being around 6ft4, of a stocky build with dark/greying hair that is long on top and short at the sides. He has brown eyes, an English accent and when last seen he was wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans.
Police are now appealing for any information individuals may have in relation to his whereabouts.
A police spokeswoman said: Anyone who has seen Jamie or a man matching his description is asked to contact Police on 101. More than a month has now passed since Jamie was last seen so please still get in touch even if you think your information might be too old – it’s crucial we piece together his movements over this time.
“We would also appeal directly to Jamie to make contact with us if he sees this appeal so that we can ensure he is safe and well.”
