An ambulance was involved in a road traffic collision today with a van near to Munlochy on the Black Isle.
A white Peugeot van was also involved in the two-vehicle collision which occurred on Rhives Road shortly after 9.35am today.
Police, fire and ambulance crews all attended as the driver of the van was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness
A fire spokesman said: “We received a call at 9.36am today to reports of a road traffic collision on Rhives Road near to Munlochy. Three appliances, all from Inverness, were sent to the scene and arrived at 9.42am. Hydraulic cutting equipment was used at the scene.”
A police spokeswoman confirmed the two crew on board the ambulance were uninjured.
