Lochaber police are encouraging motorists to drive responsibly after concerns about the anti-social use of vehicles in Fort William town centre.
Concerns have been raised about excessive and unnecessary noise, speeding and careless driving within the town centre area.
Officers from the Road Policing Unit and the local policing team will continue to carry out patrols in the area and target those who pose a risk to other road users.
Constable Shaun Knox from the Road Policing Unit said: “We have been regularly engaging with the young drivers in our community in relation to the anti-social use of vehicles.
“Despite this we continue to receive reports of incidents in the area, particularly in Fort William town centre.
“Drivers need to understand that if this continues they will be identified and further action will be taken.
“We would encourage drivers to think about the way that they use their vehicle, ensuring they drive safely, with respect for local residents and other drivers and do not use the vehicle in an anti-social manner.”
Anyone with any future information can contact police on 101.
