Caithness police are appealing for information after a low three-figure sum was stolen from a church in the Wick area.
The break-in, at Pulteney Parish Church in the Argyle Square area of the town, took place some time between last Wednesday and midday yesterday.
Constable Shaun Thomas said: “We would ask anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious activity around the church in recent days to get in touch, even if it seemed of little consequence at the time.
“You can call police in Wick on 101, using reference NJ2735/18.”
