The Glenfinnan Monument was the stunning backdrop to a superb fireworks display put on for visitors and residents by the area’s hard-working community council.
A full thirty minute display took place, while a large bonfire was also lit next to the monument.
The National Trust for Scotland visitor centre stayed open to welcome the gathered crowd and offer some hot refreshments.
Manager Emily Bryce said: “This is the first year we have stayed open for the fireworks and it has been a great night.”
Lea Hunter from Caol, who came along to watch the fireworks with her partner, said: “What a well organised event for Glenfinnan. Well done to the community council and to the National Trust for Scotland for staying open.”
