Extended hours for alcohol sales over the festive season were agreed by Highland Licensing Board yesterday.
The extra time for merry making will begin on Friday December 7, and end on Wednesday January 2, 2019.
Late opening premises will be able to apply to sell alcohol for an extra hour, from 3am to 4am.
All other premises, such as pubs, hotels and restaurants will be able to apply to sell alcohol until 2 am instead of 1am.
This year’s extended hours are the same as those agreed last year.
