A two-vehicle road traffic collision has taken place on the junction of the A96 and the B9030 near Inverness Airport.
A police spokesman confirmed an initial call was received at 3.18pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We have mobilised two pumps from Inverness after reports were received of a two-vehicle RTC between a car and a van near to Inverness Airport.
“Our crews are currently making the vehicles safe.”
The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Movano and a white BMW 3-series. Recovery was arranged for the vehicles.
