Two villages in the very north of Scotland have been shaken after a car theft, and the smashing of a window in another car.
Police are not ruling out the fact that the incidents may be connected as two luxury cars have been targeted in crime spree hitting two isolated and rural areas.

A Nissan Qashqai was stolen from outside a property in a rural area better known for wildlife than crime in the Invernaver area of Bettyhill.
While the window of an Audi was forced and items were stolen from a parked car in the Skerray area near Tongue.
Police in Sutherland are now appealing for information.
A police spokesman said: “A dark blue Nissan Qashqai was stolen from outside a property in the Invernaver area sometime between 4pm on Saturday November 17 and 10am on Sunday November 18.
“Officers are urging anyone who believes they have seen a vehicle matching this description to get in touch.
“Anyone with a dashcam who was in the area overnight is asked to review footage and report anything suspicious to police.”
Meanwhile, officers are also investigating a theft from a car parked in the Skerray area near Tongue.
A police spokesman continued: “Entry was forced to the vehicle, after a window was broken. The incident happened while the Audi car was parked on the Skerray loop road, near to Modary, between 6pm on Saturday November 17 and 8.30am on Sunday November 18.
“A number of personal items were removed from the car.”
Constable Katy Hunter said: “These are very unusual incidents for this area and we are in the process of carrying out enquiries into both cases.
“We are keeping an open mind as to whether they are linked and will carry out through investigations to establish the full circumstances
