A dozen people have had a lucky escape after a tour bus went off a Highland road and landed on its side.
The incident, involving an Omega tour bus, took place around 10.25am around one mile north of the Cluanie Inn on the A87 Invergarry to Skye road.
No serious injuries were reported with all 12 persons on board being successfully removed from the vehicle. One female passenger from the vehicle attended Broadford Hospital to have an arm injury checked over; however, her condition is described as non-serious.
A police spokesman said: “The incident took place on the A87 Invergarry to Skye road one mile north of the Cluanie Inn at 10.26am.
“Recovery for the bus has been arranged. All 12 persons on board are out of the bus with one female going to Broadford Hospital to have an arm injury checked over. The bus is on its side and off the road, therefore, the road is open.”
