The first polar bear to be born in the UK for 25 years has just turned one!
Hamish stays with his mother Victoria at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie.
Park staff have marked the special occasion by giving him treats encased in an ice block and food hidden inside cardboard boxes.
It has been a record breaking year thanks to Hamish’s arrival with visitor numbers almost doubling with the park welcoming its 200,000th visitor of the year on December 8.
Good news for those who share the polar bear cub’s name or date of birth as they can get free entry to the park today what is being dubbed #HamishDay.
