Lifeboat launched from Portree on Skye

Stornoway Coastguard were called to assist a vessel with engine trouble earlier today.

Coastguard were alerted to the incident, off Loch Snizort, at 12.46pm.

A coastguard spokesman said: “A tugboat is assisting the vessel back to port, alongside Portree Lifeboat.”
