It’s the morning after the night before across the north of Scotland following a severe weather warning which saw high winds batter large parts of the region.
All of Highland Council’s schools are back open today after several were closed yesterday and in most places, it’s business as usual.
The weather was particularly wild in Thurso as our video above, courtesy of local resident Paul Hagan, shows.
Catriona McGuire also got caught up in the weather yesterday when she was out for a drive.
With the Met Office’s yellow warning for wind now expired, the conditions are altogether calmer in the Caithness town today.
But as the video below from this morning illustrates, the storm has certainly left its mark.
