Police are appealing for information after an Audi driver fled the scene of a crash which resulted in damage being caused to a health centre in Tain.
The vehicle responsible failed to stop at the scene on Craighill Terrace or report the incident which happened sometime during the weekend.
The town’s health centre has experienced damage to its wall and car parts recovered at the scene indicate that the vehicle involved was an Audi RS3, built between 2015 and 2017.
Sergeant Anna Johnston said: “This incident is likely to cause unnecessary expense and disruption to an important facility in the community.
We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Tain which resulted in significant damage being…
“I would ask anyone who believes they saw anything at the health centre at any point over the weekend to get in touch.
“We believe that the car involved was an Audi RS3 which would have suffered noticeable damage as a result of the collision and I would urge anyone who believes they have information relating to this vehicle to come forward.”
