Passengers on board a minibus had a lucky escape this afternoon after it careered into a ditch on Skye.
The one vehicle crash occurred on the A855 Staffin Road at Torvaig shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
Police first received reports of the incident at 1.07pm dispatching a number of units to the scene, around one mile north of Portree.
Officers closed the road to fellow motorists for around two hours as personnel continued to work at the scene.
Three people were transported to hospital following the incident but are not believed to have been seriously injured.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We received a call at 1308 hours today to attend an incident in Portree. We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported three patients to Portree Urgent Care Centre.”
