Charity money and a sum of cash worth more than £1,000 has been stolen from a cafe near Invergordon.
Police are appealing for information after the reported break-in at the Tomich Cafe, which is believed to have taken place some time between Friday evening and 8.25am on Saturday morning.
Officers said that a low four-figure sum of cash was removed during the incident.
This included a large amount of charity money that had been raised by staff.

Detective Constable Paul Sanderson said: “We would urge anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious people or vehicles around the premises to come forward.
“Anyone with any information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number NE358/19.”
