Police in the Western Isles are appealing for information following a break-in at a fishing lodge in the Grimersta area on the west side of Lewis.
Entry was forced to the property and a number of outboard motors stolen from inside.
The break-in is believed to have occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Detective Constable Ed Smith said: “This is an unusual incident for the Isle of Lewis and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to identify whoever is responsible.
“I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious activity around the area, even it seemed of little note at the time, to get in touch with us.
