Police in Nairn are appealing for information after a quantity of jewellery was stolen from a house.
The housebreaking occurred at a property on Sutors View in the Lochloy area of the town.
Entry was forced to the property between 2.30pm and 5.50pm yesterday.
Officers are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information which could come forward.
Sergeant Steven Maclennan said: “We would urge anyone who was in the Lochloy area of Nairn on Tuesday afternoon and believes they may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to let us know.
“Anyone who believes they can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference NM215/19. You can also contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to pass on information anonymously.”
