A busy Highland road has since reopened after being closed in both directions following a two-vehicle crash today.
Two casualties were taken from the scene to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where their injuries are described as serious.
Police, fire and ambulance personnel attended the incident on the A835 Tore to Dingwall road, near Conon Bridge, with the road closed in both directions whilst works were conducted.
A diversion was put in place for motorists travelling on the route.

A police spokesman confirmed an initial call was received at 10.47am.
Two fire appliances from Dingwall were sent to the scene, with a spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirming hydraulic cutting equipment was in use to free one casualty from one of the vehicles.
A further four casualties were able to free themselves from the vehicles without the need for assistance from the emergency services.
