A list of the roads to be closed for Inverness half marathon and 5K on March 10 has been announced.
The council is advising drivers that temporary traffic restrictions will be in place around the city during the event.
Drivers should be aware that alternative routes will be available.
Bught Avenue will be closed between its con-junction with Bught Drive and its junction with Bught Road, from noon until 3.30pm.
Bught Road closed between its junction with Bught Avenue and Ness Walk Upper from 10.30am-3.30pm.
Ness Walk Upper closed between its con-junction with Bught Road and its junction with Ballifeary Lane, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Ness Walk Upper between its junction with Ballifeary Lane and its junction with Bishops Road, from 12.15pm to 3.30pm.
Bishops Road closed between its junction with Ness Walk and its junction with Ardross Terrace, from 12.15pm to 1pm.
Bishops Road closed to southbound traffic between its junction with Ness Walk and its junction with Ardross Terrace, from 1-3pm. Vehicular access for northbound traffic will be maintained at all times.
Ardross Terrace closed between its junction with Bishops Road and its con-junction with Ness Walk, from 12.15pm to 3pm.
Ness Walk closed between its junction with Young Street and its con junction with Ardross Terrace, from 12.15pm to 3pm.
B861 Inverness – Leys – lnverarnie Road; single lane closure (south side) of westbound carriageway and footway closure (south side), between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Ness Walk, from 12.15pm to 3pm.
Castle Road closed to northbound traffic, between its junction with Haugh Road and its junction with Bridge Street, from 12.15pm to 3pm. Vehicular access for southbound vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road closed to through traffic between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Island Bank Road, from 12.15pm.
