A Highland preservation charity is hosting a unique rewilding training scheme which is designed to boost young people’s skills and employability in the rural economy.
The scheme, being run by Trees for Life, will guide five successful candidates through developing skills in the field, in addition to providing valuable work experience.
It will give them the opportunity to conduct hands-on activities such as growing native trees from seeds, landscape management and helping volunteers plant trees.
Applicants must be UK nationals and be at least 18 years old when the traineeships start in July. The programme covers living expenses, and is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Interested parties have until Monday, March 18 to register.
