Emergency services were tasked with clearing debris from the A82 after a tree fell just inches from oncoming motorists earlier today.
The incident occurred shortly before 6pm, less than a mile north of Invergloy.
An ambulance spokesman, who saw the incident occur said: “The car in front of me; it just came down in front of him. It came down all of a sudden. No-one was hurt.”
He helped to direct oncoming traffic from both directions as a member of Bear Scotland managed to clear away the majority of the debris.
Further assistance by police and Bear Scotland officials was also sought to help clear the remaining branches sticking out onto the carriageway.
