Two renowned dance companies are joining forces once again to bring their contemporary circus to the Highlands next month.
Edinburgh dance troupes All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre and Room 2 Manoeuvre will showcase their new production ‘Heroes’ at various venues across the north in the coming weeks.
They will make their return at Ardross Community Hall on Friday, April 5 before playing to audiences at Seall at An Crubh, Duisdale on Skye, One Touch Theatre at Eden Court on April 23 and Pulteneytown People’s Project in Wick.
The show combines breath-taking aerial acrobatics and dance theatre with a contemporary circus to narrate the humorous journey of two performers, Tony Mills and Beverley Grant, as they navigate their way through the unforgiving world of idols, superheroes and celebrity culture.
Performers will examine what it means to be labelled a celebrity; why some will stop at nothing to achieve it and the process of being thrust into the spotlight, as well as the dramatic fall from grace.
The show will entertain audiences at 17 venues throughout the duration of the tour, which will run until April 27.
The month-long tour has been made possible with funding from Creative Scotland and support from The Work Room, The Brunton Theatre, Platform and Irish Aerial Creation Centre.
Tickets for the production can be booked on the hall booking line on 01349 880591 or online at
