An award-winning double act are coming to Eden Court in Inverness next month as The Chicago Blues Brothers get set to take to the stage.
The production has visited countries across the globe after debuting at the Savoy Theatre in London’s West End earlier this year.
The musical mash-up presents the best material from the original Blues Brothers movies and is jam-packed full of songs by legends such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles.
Featuring blues, soul, Motown and funk classics, with a few surprises thrown in along the way, The Chicago Blues Brothers captures the sound, energy and persona that propelled the film to cult status and that still thrills audiences worldwide today.
Performed by Chris Hindle and Gareth Davey, Joliet Jake Blues and Elwood Blues respectively, the show is to be performed at Eden Court on Thursday May 30.
A spokeswoman for Eden Court said: “Chris and Gareth have been best friends for over 16 years and this shines through on stage.
“They are both professional wind up artists and enjoy playing tricks on everyone in the band and members of the public. Their off-stage friendship is one of the magical aspects that makes the Chicago Blues Brothers such a fun and unique.”
