Firefighters remain at the scene of a large heath fire on the Isle of Skye.
The fire, believed to cover around 10 acres, broke out just before 11am this morning in Edinbane sparking a major response from teams across the region.
Three appliances from Portree, Broadford and Dunvegan were initially dispatched to the scene, followed by a further three further appliances from Kyle of Lochalsh, Applecross and Drumnadrochit.
The team from Drumnadrochit have since left the scene as the remaining appliances continue to try and bring the blaze under control.
