Firefighters remain at the scene of a large wildfire along the A832 between Achnasheen and Gairloch.
The blaze, which engulfed close to Kerry Falls power station, was first reported at 10.44am spreading for more than seven miles.
A total of 10 firefighters remain committed to tackling the blaze on the hill in an attempt to keep the fire under control, with a total of four crews being brought in to help with the ongoing operation.
A helicopter has also been drafted in to water bomb several areas of the blaze.
A spokeswoman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 10.44am on Thursday, April 25 to reports of a wildfire at Gairloch.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire engines near to the A832 where firefighters are currently using beaters to extinguish the fire.
“A helicopter has been requested to assist with the operations.
“Crews remain in attendance.”
A full weather forecast has also been requested by firefighters in an effort to establish the conditions they face going forward.
The blaze is not threatening properties in the area.
